enabling prayer
Soul Survivor is really keen for any one who wants to, to be involved in praying for other people. We recognise the significance in young people being equipped and encouraged to pray for each other and are passionate about modelling this in our times of ministry – however, we also understand that these times should also be a ‘safe’ place to receive. In order to do this we employ a team of ‘Enablers’ who have experience in prayer ministry.
Not only do our ‘Enablers’ move around the main meeting venue coaching and encouraging prayer, they are also used in some seminars and we have a space for our enablers called the Chat room to spend more time with those delegates who want to talk.
You will have to supply your own accommodation but in return for your hard work you will get a free place at the event and all your meals (beginning on the evening Day 1 – to the evening of Day 5) – what more could you want!
how old do i have to be?
The minimum age is 18.
what will my days look like?
You will have a mixture of light and heavy days either main meetings & seminars or main meetings & the chat room. In the mornings and evenings you will meet 45mins before each main meeting giving you a chance to get into your smaller groups pray and debrief. During the afternoons you will break into two groups. One group will look after the chat room (opening from 2-4pm every day) and the other groups will be in any seminars that have a specific ministry time.
when will i need to be on site?
Day 1 – midnight Day 5! There’s a meeting on Day 1 for all teams in the early afternoon followed by an individual team meeting where you’ll meet your lovely team leaders and pick up your wristband! The times for these meetings will be confirmed closer to the summer but as long as you are there early afternoon you will be fine.
do i need anything extra to be on this team?
Experience in prayer ministry. You will also be required to complete a CRB form before we can confirm your place on team. A pack will be sent to you when we process your initial application. If you already have a CRB with Soul Survivor that is less than three years old then you will not have to complete a new one.

group leaders
If you’re bringing a group then we want you to feel that your role and authority is recognised by Soul Survivor and that you are free to give direction in ministry with our blessing. We'd love you to consider coming along to our Holy Spirit and His Gifts Training Day (see below) to be familiar with how ministry times at Soul Survivor work.

We have a training day that we'd love the Enabling Team to come to. The ‘Holy Spirit and His Gifts’ one day conference in Watford on 19th May 2012 from 2-8pm will be a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with how ministry times work at Soul Survivor. You'll get to come to this event for free (usually £3.50).

Book a place on the event of your choice and choose the option to book as a team member. It’s completely free to volunteer with us so won’t have to give any payment details.
