set up
When everyone else is thinking about which toothbrush to pack and whether to take their blue or green wellies our Set Up Team will already be onsite setting up venues, fencing campsites and unloading lorries. With one day less set up time this year we’re in real need of your help! The teams’ main priority is to set up Soul Survivor in a quick, efficient and safe way.
Our Set Up team is only available at Week B
You will have to supply your own accommodation but in return for your hard work you will get a free place at the event and meals from Day 0 to Day 2.
how old do i have to be?
The minimum age is 18.
what will my days look like?
Days 0 and 1 will be very full on, right up until the venues open in the evening. By Day 2 everything will be rolling so the day will involve tying up any loose ends, general tidying and last minute changes.
when will i need to be on site?
9am on Day 0, you’ll have finished your duties by the evening of Day 2 leaving you free to enjoy the majority of the conference.
do i need anything extra to be on this team?
Physical strength, stamina, patience, enthusiasm and a means of getting to site a few days before the event starts. A pair of protective boots and some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty will also help!

Please apply for your place on team online (we're no longer accepting team applications by post or email in 2012).
You can apply online using our booking system. If you haven't done so already you will need to register with our online system, then login. Book a place on the event of your choice and choose the option to book as a team member. It’s completely free to volunteer with us so won’t have to give any payment details.
