Plumbers of the nation – our toilet units and shower units (and most importantly hot chocolate machines) are in need of your services!
Delegate experience is so important to us and the single largest impact to an enjoyable camp are the bathing and dumping facilities. We’ve found toilet and shower units are a little like attention seeking toddlers, they require your attention constantly and often wet themselves.
We’re looking for a couple of experienced plumbers to join our Production Team to help keep everything in tip top order, both on the campsites and in the café venues.
Plumbers are only required for Week A (whole event) and Week B (setup only)
Accommodation and meals will be provided
Our Packdown team is only available at Stafford and Momentum.
You will have to supply your own accommodation but in return for your hard work you will get a free place at the event, accommodation and 3 meals a day from Day 4.
how old do i have to be?
The minimum age is 18.
what will my days look like?
Days 0 and 1 will be very full on, right up until the venues open in the evening. By Day 2 everything will be rolling so the day will involve tying up any loose ends, general tidying and last minute changes.
when will i need to be on site?
Week A: 12:00 on Day 0 (Thursday 28th July) until midday on Day 6
Week B setup: – 11:00 on Day -1 (Sunday 7th August) until midday of Day 2
do i need anything extra to be on this team?
Physical strength, stamina, patience, enthusiasm and a means of getting to site a few days before the event starts. A pair of protective boots and some clothes you don’t mind getting dirty will also help! And if your Gas Safe Registered, that’s even better – we’ll give you a prize!
