Christian Police Advisor
With thousands of people to look after we sometimes need advice on what’s best for everyone’s safety. We’ve been very lucky to work with some amazing Christian police officers over the years and they’ve helped us with everything from returning escaped farmyard animals to their homes, to dealing with lost or stolen mobile phones, to helping us to build relationships with and work alongside local emergency services.
You’d be working with our amazing teams as they deal with incidents and emergencies, but you’d be there only to advise so you wouldn’t have to be there ‘on duty’ to help.
If you’re a police officer with lots of hands on experience and a heart for helping young people to meet Jesus, we’d love to talk to you about coming along to Soul Survivor this summer. We will provide all your meals and even help with accommodation and transport if needed!
How old do I have to be?
The minimum age is 18.
What will my days look like?
Your role will be advising us whenever a problem arises, so there’s no set timetable. We’ll make sure you get to a few meetings and seminars through the week, and that you get enough sleep!
When will I need to be on site?
7pm Day 0 – 9am Day 6. There’s a meeting on Day 0 (the day before delegates arrive) for our Stewards to get briefed on health and safety and all sorts of helpful info. It’s at 7pm and it will help you to get a feel for what our teams do and how you can advice through the week.
Do I need anything extra to be on these teams?
Experience working as a police officer, ideally for a few years.

It would be handy to include information about your role at work so we can see that you have relevant experience.
You will also be required to complete a Soul Survivor CRB (unless you hold one with Soul survivor that is less than 3 years old at the time of the event). A pack will be sent to you when you apply.
