11. exam results day
The 16th August is the last day of Week C. It's also A Level results day, and we're guessing quite a few of you will be needing to check your results, get online and have a good natter on the phone with a few people. We don't really want you to think you have to go home early if you're getting results, so here's some of the stuff we'll be doing to make sure you can access the information you need when you need it.
internet access
We'll be opening the ToolShed at 9am and anyone waiting on results can use the computers at 'The Office' to check results. We'll give people a free 15 minute first come, first served slot to make sure everyone can check their results.
keep your phone charged
We recommend that you keep your phone fully charged just in case someone is picking up results for you or you need to go through clearing... The phone charging stand in the ToolShed will be open and ready to rejuvenate your dwindling battery life throughout the whole event, but we'll make sure it's also available on the morning of the 16th.
chat to someone
We also have a little Chat Room open each afternoon for anyone who wants to gloat about their 3 A Stars and is in a Cambridge or Exeter Uni conundrum (academic life of being close to the beach???). The chaps will also be very happy to chat through options for those who didn't quite get the grades they'd hoped for.
