Coming to Soul Survivor Week B or C this summer? If so we have a really exciting opportunity for you to get your arms, legs, face, teeth - heck your whole body - into!
During our two Somerset based events we're teaming up with the awesome YWAM (that's Youth With A Mission for the uninitiated) to run a special programme for a few hundred of you. The programme will involve some special seminars on mission, evangelism and outreach, so you'll get to learn the basic biblical basis for why we always talk about this stuff...
But hold on. It's more than just teaching. There will be a whole lot of doing too. For two afternoons you'll 'Get Out' of the Bath & West Showground and spend time serving the local community, chatting to people about Jesus and basically living out the stuff you've been taught!

OK, so you've got the idea, here's a bit more of the detail.
Following last year’s successful outreach trips, we’re offering Soul Survivor
delegates the opportunity to head out for the afternoon to serve local communities on Days 3 and 4 of both the Soul Survivor events based in Somerset. Working with Shepton Churches Together, teams of delegates will be heading to community projects and churches for afternoons of outreach, evangelism and
serving.
As well as a daily seminar that will give practical advice and training in preparation for the afternoon projects, there will also be an afternoon debrief session on the final day of the event. The idea here is to share stories of what has happened and give thanks for the time spent serving others.
The debrief will be a great time to share some practical pointers on how to do this style of outreach in your home town.
Youth groups are welcome (and encouraged!) to sign up as a group and share in this opportunity together.

The 'Get Out' programme will be running over two days during our Soul Survivor events in Somerset. At both weeks these will be on Days 3 and 4, which in normal calendars means:
Soul Survivor Week B: Thursday 11th & Friday 12th August
Soul Survivor Week C: Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th August

There is no additional cost to take part in the 'Get Out' programme at Soul Survivor.

To apply to take part in the outreach afternoons at one of the summer events just download the following form and send it back to the YWAM address at the end of the document, or get in touch with YWAM with the details below. Please note that you have to be booked onto a Soul Survivor event to be able to apply for the 'Get Out at Soul Survivor' programme.
You can also sign up for the Get Out Programme when you're at Soul Survivor. Just head to the ToolShed on Day 1 or 2, find the YWAM stand and you'll be able to sign yourself up there and then (if you're under 18 you'll need to sign up with a responsible adult - an over 18 - who will look after you)!
