Our conferences run for five days, starting with a main meeting at 7pm on the first day and ending after the main meeting on the fifth day. They are held on two agriculural showgrounds (one in the north and one in the south of England).

There are two main meetings, one in the morning and one in the evening where everyone comes together for worship, teaching and ministry. Seminars run at 9.30am, 2.30pm and 4pm and delegates can go to as many as they like. There is usually a choice of up to 7 seminars running at any one time and the topics are as varied as preparing for leadership, sexuality, God’s heart for the poor and how to read the Bible. A number of cafes are open in the afternoon and after the main meetings in the evening to give people the space to hang out with friends, relax and listen to music.

Those feeling energetic can get involved with the sports team or visit the skate park, or for a more chilled out afternoon or evening you can watch great films or visit the resource area where you can find out more about some great Christian companies/charities/ buy a few bits. Gigs are held every evening that provide great entertainment every night, we’ve just introduced a dance venue ‘Mr Boogies’ which proved very popular this year.

We hope that Soul Survivor provides an atmosphere where young people can enjoy hanging out with old friends and make new ones, where both Christians and non-Christians feel comfortable and where we can learn more about God, spending time worshipping, listening and responding to Him.

What our delegates have said about the events!
We asked our delegates what they think about Soul Survivor/Momentum and what makes them unique.  We thought you might like to know what they had to say….

"A chance to explore your faith with your friends and a chance to have a holiday and relax with other Christians."

"The whole event is unique and life changing."

"The gospel is presented in youth friendly and accessible way."

"It is a place to meet with God and learn more about him in a relaxed and fun environment."

"God does wonderful things in that week that fill and strengthen people to continue letting God change them and use them through the year!"

"Its focus on issues facing young Christians."

"It’s really helped me develop a deeper understanding of what it means and feels like to live properly for my Lord, without being ashamed."

"The focus on worship and seeking God made it easy to meet with Him.  It is real, honest and down to earth. The teaching was relevant to the lives of young (and older!) people."

"That it is for young people and that it is a "cool" place to come to, very fun, welcoming and a good laugh. Also a lot of stuff to do outside of the meetings which I enjoy."

"I loved the seminars; they gave you a chance to go deeper into your faith, and gave the opportunity to ask questions. Even tough questions."

"The freedom to express how you feel in worship."

Momentum
Momentum is our conference for students and 20 somethings... it's a bit more chilled out than the bigger Soul Survivor events, but people still tend to like it...

"There's a wide range of speakers and in-depth theological teaching. There's specific support for students or those in the working environment."

"Fabulous mix of amazing intimacy with God, great joy at celebrating Him with like-minded people, fun, chilling-out, grooving out in Cafe Uno, great Bible-teaching, inspiring speakers and a chocolate mountain from the Soul Cafe - such diversity and yet a real spirit of a unified heart after God's glory."

"Freedom of worship and relaxed but focused atmosphere."

"Great to chill out with people your own age who want to get closer to God."

"It has all the fun and enjoyment of Soul Survivor whilst offering a more mature and deeper look at both God and the Bible, and offers worship that really is aimed to connect you to God."
