The bad 's' word...

Don't worry we haven't gone all rude... the bad 's' word we're referring to is 'singleness'. For many it's impossible to mention without having a bunch of negative connotations attached to it.

Although being single has its benefits the urge to be with someone can often overtake the advantages.

Most of us long to be with someone, so it can be horrible if no ‘suitable other' comes into our lives. In this situation what do we make of the whole ‘God’s called you to celibacy’ type comments?

Should we be proactive in finding a partner (or sit at home with the cats) and how do we not distance ourselves from our heavenly Father.
